The 1971 World Series featured a truly dominant performance from Clemente - he hit .414 with two homers, two doubles, a triple, three runs and four RBI to earn MVP honors. Though Stargell was a key part of the 1971 title team (his 48 regular-season homers were an all-time high), he struggled in the World Series, hitting just .208 with one RBI in 24 at-bats.
