Breaking news: Several months ago, we officially announced that the spawn.com/McFarlane Toys road crew would be attending Comic-Con International 2005 in San Diego from July 14-17. Today the story gets better. Spawn creator and McFarlane Toys founder Todd McFarlane will attend the Con, too.

That's right, Todd will be in San Diego and will host a panel, "Todd McFarlane Tells All," on Saturday, July 16, from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in Room 8. Hear the latest about all the ongoing McFarlane projects including the latest comic, toy and animation news from Todd himself in a lively 90-minute discussion. Fans will not want to miss this very interactive Q&A opportunity.

In addition to Todd, the spawn.com road gang will be in town to showcase some of our newest figures for 2005 and to meet and greet fans at our booth, which is #4407. We'll have samples of two-up prototypes of current and upcoming figures to show off. McFarlane Toys fans will get a first look the latest action figures and two-up prototypes of upcoming lines including the highly anticipated upcoming feature films Tim Burton's Corpse Bride (Warner Bros.) and Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit (Aardman), the hit cult-flick Napoleon Dynamite (Twentieth Century Fox Film) and the characters from the hugely successful Fox series The Simpsons, McFarlane's Dragons Series 2, McFarlane's Military: Redeployed, Spawn Series 28 and of course, a few surprises, too.

Just adjacent to our booth, the fine folks from Conan properties will be setting up their booth and showcasing our Conan action figures among other things. Funcom will show off the award-winning "Age of Conan" video game slated for release next year. The game will offer players the unique opportunity to exist in the dark, lush, violent and sinful universe that was the true vision of Robert E. Howard. View game footage, get a glimpse of the breathtaking graphics and experience the stunning 7.1 surround audio that have earmarked "Age of Conan" for greatness. This will be the first U.S public showing of the title that made its debut at E3 2005. Funcom is an Oslo-based company with more than 20 titles released to date. More information can be found at http://www.funcom.com and http://www.ageofconan.com. In addition to the game footage, a McFarlane Toys-designed and custom-built towering 6-foot Conan throne, based on our deluxe boxed set, will be on display and more than 2,000 visitors will walk away with limited-edition Conan inflatable sword.

We're also hosting some signing events in our booth (#4407). They are:

Friday July 15, 3 to 4 p.m. Case Files: Sam & Twitch artist signing. Case Files: Sam and Twitch takes the crime noir world of Sam and Twitch to a darker level, features unique artwork and storytelling. Come and meet its creative artist duo of Marc Andreyko and EJ Su.

Saturday, July 16, 3 to 4 p.m. Spawn artist signing. The Spawn comic book hits another milestone in 2005 with the release of issue 150. The classic story of a man's battle with evil forces continues to forge into new story line frontiers and remains one of the most popular comic books today. Come meet the Spawn creative team of Angel Medina, Philip Tan, Danny Miki, Brian Holguin, Brian Haberlin, Jay Fotos and Nat Jones

Last year's event drew some 87,000 attendees and 2005 promises to be even bigger. For more info, go to www.comic-con.org and we'll see you in July.
