McFarlane Toys is proud to unveil its first bonus hockey series of 2003 -- McFarlane's Sports Picks: NHL Canada. This is not a standard numbered NHL series, but rather a special off-season release featuring five players representing Canadian NHL teams.

Here's the lineup:

  • SAKU KOIVU, Montreal Canadiens center, No. 11
  • MARIAN HOSSA, Ottawa Senators right wing, No. 18
  • ANSON CARTER, Edmonton Oilers right wing, No. 22
  • DAN CLOUTIER, Vancouver Canucks goalie, No. 39
  • TIE DOMI, Toronto Maple Leafs right wing, No. 28
As always, each player is sculpted in an action pose and includes all equipment and base.

Release options are still in the planning stages at this time. This limited release will be available to all Canadian retailers in July; it may see a small-scale release in the United States, but the final decision has not been made.

Look for photos and updated release plans as soon as they're available.
